Previously known as Wooded Glen Estates, Naveen’s Glen rests quietly in the village of Suriya Gaon, in Sattal—a landscape shaped by two gentle mountains, Tincheo and Ararda, with the Khaan valley unfolding between them. Cradled by reserve forests on all sides, the estate is a tapestry of shifting perspectives, where every turn reveals a different mood, a different horizon—making it one of Sattal’s most quietly remarkable places to stay.

Tincheo rises as the hilltop of vast openness—where the land falls away in every direction, offering sweeping 360° views. Forests edge its sides, while the Khaan valley dips below. From here, the Gola River threads its way through the plains of Haldwani, the distant lights of Nainital shimmer after dusk, and sunsets over Jeolikote unfold in slow, luminous silence.

Ararda, in contrast, leans gently toward the lake. This hilltop looks out over the still waters of Sattal, separated from Tincheo by the quiet stretch of the Khaan valley. Surrounded by forest, every home here is turned toward the lake and the layered greens that hold it.

Khaan, the valley between the two, carries a softness of its own. It stretches inward into the forest reserve, where the land feels more intimate, more held. From here, the Gola River can be seen winding through the distant flatlands, adding a sense of quiet movement to the stillness.

Far removed from the crowded edges of Uttarakhand, yet close enough to what one needs, Naveen’s Glen remains untouched by overt commercialization. At an altitude of 5,000 feet above sea level, and roughly 290 km from Delhi, it offers a rare balance—of accessibility and seclusion, of comfort and wilderness. The air is gentle, the seasons kind, and the landscape, always, invites you to slow down and stay a little longer.
